MEET YOUR CHIROPRACTOR
Dr. April J. Miller, D.C., F.P.S.C.
Leading Evergreen Park Spine & Injury Center since 2002.

A Practice Built Around Patient Care
Dr. April J. Miller, D.C., F.P.S.C. earned her Doctor of Chiropractic from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL in 2002, and has led Evergreen Park Spine & Injury Center, P.C. ever since, serving the Evergreen Park and greater Chicagoland community. She went on to complete a Fellowship in Primary Spine Care through SUNY at Buffalo’s Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences — becoming the first female and first African-American chiropractor to complete that fellowship.
Her practice focuses on personal injury and auto-accident recovery, workers’ compensation cases, and prenatal/postnatal care through the Webster Technique — alongside general family wellness and treatment for musculoskeletal conditions like sciatica and chronic pain.
Care emphasizes natural, evidence-based chiropractic treatment aimed at reducing symptoms while improving endurance, flexibility, and overall quality of life. The approach is grounded and plain-spoken — explaining what an exam finds and what’s recommended, without hype or pressure.
HER STORY
Why She Became a Chiropractor
Dr. Miller’s own path into chiropractic care started with two rear-end collisions within five days of each other. At a routine appointment afterward, her dentist noticed a change in her posture and referred her to a chiropractor — who, in turn, encouraged her to consider chiropractic school. That firsthand experience of being genuinely listened to and cared for is what she tries to bring to every patient who walks through her own door.
