CONDITIONS WE TREAT
Post-Concussion Syndrome Care
Supportive chiropractic care alongside your medical treatment after a concussion.

SUPPORTING YOUR RECOVERY
Working Alongside Your Medical Care
Concussions should be evaluated and managed by a physician, and chiropractic care isn’t a replacement for that. What we can offer is supportive care for the neck pain, headaches, and stiffness that often accompany post-concussion recovery, coordinated with your medical treatment.
If your symptoms include headaches, our headaches & migraines page has more on that specifically.
Where the Neck Fits In
A concussion is a brain injury and needs to be diagnosed and managed by a physician — that’s not something chiropractic care addresses. What is well within scope is the neck injury that so often happens at the same time. The same forces that cause a concussion — a car accident, a fall, a sports collision — frequently strain the neck as well, and an irritated cervical spine can itself produce headaches, dizziness, and neck stiffness that overlap with and can prolong post-concussion symptoms.
Our role is to evaluate and treat that cervical component — gentle, exam-based care for the neck injury itself — as one piece of your broader recovery, always alongside and coordinated with your physician’s management of the concussion itself. We’ll ask about your medical care and any activity restrictions your doctor has given you, since that context shapes what we do and don’t recommend.
