GENERAL STEPS

After a Collision

1. Check for Injuries

Call 911 if anyone is injured or if the accident is serious.

2. Document the Scene

Take photos of the vehicles, damage, and surroundings if you’re able.

3. Exchange Information

Get the other driver’s contact, insurance, and license details.

4. Report to Your Insurance

Let your insurance company know about the accident.

5. Get Checked Out

See a doctor or chiropractor even if you feel fine at first.

6. Keep Records

Save documentation, bills, and notes about your recovery.

If you’re dealing with pain or stiffness after your accident, see our page on car accident chiropractic care. If you’re working with an attorney on your case, our For Attorneys page covers how we coordinate treatment and documentation.
